This tutorial has been collected in =PhotoLust's favourites gallery (home of loads of brilliant tutorials) and has also been featured in January's journal. Thanks for making such a great resource!

Thanks! :) HDR stands for High Dynamic Range and it allows dynamic range of luminances between light and dark areas.

THANK YOU for that! Seriously, I kept getting the ' High Definition Resolution' answer, and that really didn't make sense.

If you intend to work on another tutorial, I would love to request one. :) I have seen OH SO MANY landscape, waterscape etc. photographs where the sky just seems to go miles into the photograph, and with a flattened look to it. I tried doing that to one of my photographs by using the ';pinch' filter in PS, but all sorts of nasty results!

egs. These two photographers' photos are perfect examples of what I mean:

If you do know how to do it, please try and write a tutorial.

No problem ^^

I think those 2 are HDRs, HDR really make the sky stand out! You can either take many photos and merge them together with photoshop/photomatix, or make it out of a single RAW with camera RAW in photoshop (i think you can open a JPEG with camera RAW too, but the options are not as many) by changing Blacks and Fill Light, or you can use my tutorial ^^

Thank you. Photomatix keeps coming up. Hmmm! Must get! :sprint:

You never really get over it, but you learn to live with it.
